- Dave,
- I think you've raised an important point. Virus infection is going to be an
- ongoing problem! So, making programs resistant if not immune will become a sign
- of a 'good' programming practice. In keeping with the overall design philosophy
- of MacApp, it would be appropriate for MacApp to have a generic virus
- resistance so that all MacApp programs would at least have some protection,
- then the individual developer may add to, enhance, or alter the automatic
- protection. It should not be an either/or issue. No program will ever have
- absolute protection, but all programs (MacApp at least) can have some
- protection.
-
- This is my introduction to the MacApp interest list. NEURODATA is using
- Macintosh computers for neuroelectric signal processing (EEG etc). I'm new to
- the Mac but was able to get an application on the air in less than six months
- using MacApp without having to learn all of the details of the Macintosh. I'm
- looking forward to learning more about both MacApp and the Macintosh and look
- forward to the development of both products.
